City Moves Forward on Park Project, Pauses on Pool Project

The Pawnee City City Council accepted a bid from Creative Landscaping for the Tranquility Park project as well as a bid from LuxSteel for fence material for the same park at their meeting on April 13.The park will be built on a lot with a sheer drop off on the back end.

Pawnee City Speech Team finished their impressive season on a high note recently–3rd in D1 at the state meet.Eleven students qualified for the state meet in eleven events. Eight of those came home with a medal, and several more were just inches away.
