NEBRASKA CITY - The Lewiston Lady Tigers were the #10 seed heading into the 2020 Pioneer Conference Volleyball Tournament and went up against the #7 seeded Sterling Lady Jets on Monday, October 12th at Nebraska City.

PERU - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titan football team finished their season against Nebraska City Lourdes Central Catholic on Thursday, October 15th. Lourdes CC jumped out to a 22-0 lead on the Titans in the 1st quarter and then improved their advantage to 54-0 by the halftime break.

STERLING - The Lewiston Tigers were up against substantial odds on Friday night, October 16th as they traveled to Sterling to take on the undefeated Jets on their home field. Sterling didn’t waste any time getting on the board in the first quarter as they led 24-0 at the end of the period and then tacked on 30 more points in the 2nd quarter to carry a 54-0 lead into the halftime break.

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers made some good defensive stops against Deshler on Homecoming night, but they couldn’t consistently stop the visiting Dragons in the end. On Friday, October 9th, Lewiston had the visiting Dragons backed up into some very tough downs and distance, but Deshler kept up their offensive onslaught to defeat Lewiston 59-13 in front of a Homecoming crowd.

PAWNEE CITY - The Pawnee City Indians had their hands full on Friday night, October 9th as they hosted the Sterling Jets. Pawnee City got behind 40-0 in the first quarter and weren’t able to dig themselves back out of that hole.

TECUMSEH - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer and Johnson County Central football teams each had cancellations this week due to Covid-19, so they rescheduled their previously postponed game on Friday night, October 9th.

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans and the Pawnee City Lady Indians played in a triangular on Thursday night, October 8th against the Diller/ Odell Lady Griffins. HTRS lost the first game to Diller/Odell in close sets, 20-25, 28-26, 12-25 and Pawnee City also lost to the Lady Griffins by set scores of 9-25, 14-25.

HUMBOLDT, FALLS CITY - The Pawnee City Lady Indians went up against some very stiff competition last week as they faced Diller/Odell and HTRS in a triangular and then traveled to the Falls City Tournament on Saturday.

STERLING - The Lewiston Lady Tigers originally had a triangular at Sterling on Tuesday, October 6th with College View Academy, but CVA cancelled and the Lady Tigers went the best three out of five with Sterling instead.

FAIRBURY, HUMBOLDT -The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans had a very busy week after traveling to Fairbury on Tuesday for an exhausting five set match and then scrambling to prepare to host a tournament on Saturday.
