P.C. loses momentum in 2nd half against FCSH

FALLS CITY - The Pawnee City Indians seemingly had the game in hand against the Falls City Sacred Heart Irish on Friday, January 19th, but ended up losing by a 51-53 score in the end. Pawnee City led 13-7 after the 1st period and carried a 26-20 advantage into the locker rooms.

HTRS Lady Titans dominate boards, scoreboard against Lady Indians

PAWNEE CITY - It came down to a battle on the boards between the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans and the Pawnee City Lady Indians on Tuesday, January 16th, and the Lady Titans won.

LHS Lady Tigers still struggle scoring

LEWISTON, NEBRASKA CITY - The Lewiston Lady Tigers are still having troubles trying to score against tougher opponents on the court. The Lady Tigers lost two more games last week against the Class D-1 Johnson-Brock Lady Eagles and the Class C-2 Nebraska City Lourdes Central Catholic Lady Knights.

HTRS Lady Titans edge JCC 44-41

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans picked up a quality 44-41 win over the Class C-2 Johnson County Central Lady Thunderbirds on Thursday, January 18th. HTRS trailed 9-10 after the 1st period and were down 22-- 27 at the half.

HTRS/P.C. Youth Wrestling hosts tournament

The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/Pawnee City Youth Wrestling Club hosted a tournament on January 7th, 2024. I want to start off by saying thank you to all of the parents who volunteered their time in all aspects of the tournament.
They recently hosted their tournament with 226 wrestlers in attendance. Pictured right is HTRS’ Talon Wamsley (right) in one of his matches. He took 1st place in one of the the 1st2nd grade divisions. See below for all of the details.

P.C. faces Sterling in another low-scoring game

BEATRICE - The Pawnee City Lady Indians went up against the Sterling Lady Jets for the second time this season and had another game of turnovers and missed shots which led to a low-scoring loss.

HTRS almost pulls off upset of #2 B-D-S

BEATRICE - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans came very close, but fell one point shy of pulling off an upset over #2 seeded Bruning-Davenport-Shickley last Thursday, January 11th in the Class B Mudecas Tournament.
