John “JB” Benjamin Nicholas, 73, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 29, 2024 after a courageous seven month battle with pancreatic cancer. JB’s final act of kindness was donating his organs for pancreatic cancer research.

Daniel Edward Atkinson passed away peacefully at his home on February 2nd, 2024 at the age of 102. He is survived by his children Kristine (David), Owen (Melodee), Joyce (Branch), Ellen (Patrick), and daughter-in-law, Linda. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Elsie, his son David, and his parents Max and Amy.

Harold Dean Yoble was born February 26, 1935 at home on the farm east of DuBois to Edmund F. and Hettie (Westerman) Yoble. He was the youngest of six children born to this union. Harold went by the name ‘Dean’ a majority of his life. Dean attended school in DuBois and graduated from DuBois High School in 1953.

Kendall Suzanne (Moody) Sunneberg

Kendall Suzanne (Moody) Sunneberg returned home to her final resting place on February 23rd, 2024, after a long, courageous battle against Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Superior, NE, March 3rd, 1972, to Joseph and Connie (Edwards) Moody, Kendall grew up in the small town of Auburn, Nebraska. There she enjoyed a very active life as a cheerleader, spending most days on the family farm or time with her many friends. The eldest of three children, she was always watching out for her younger brothers, and teaching them everything she knew.

Joyce Marie (Graham) Jameson, daughter of Avery Warren and Helen Frances (Svanda) Graham, was born on April 6, 1941 at Steele City, Nebraska. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 82 years, 10 months.

September 25, 1941 ~ February 11, 2024 Don was born September 25, 1941, at the Pawnee City Hospital to Charlie and Julia (Vrtiska) Blecha. The family lived on a farm near Violet, Nebraska until 1946 at which time they moved to Pawnee City and Don attended all grades at Pawnee City Schools.
