Snow Settled in Pawnee County Over the weekend

Over the last week or so Pawnee county was graced with two tastes of winter. The first storm settled in on Wednesday. This provided much needed precipitation. The bulk of this storm came in the form of freezing rain. A small amount of snow followed. Ice accumulations were anywhere from .10 to .25.

10 years ago Jan. 17, 2013 Two people escaped from an early morning fire Monday in Pawnee City. The fire occurred at a residence across the street from the NAPA store. Sheldon Patterson and his foster son, Daniel Zodl, were sleeping at the time.

James Money of Pawnee County nebraska was sentenced to two years in prison and a year of post release supervision for posession of methamphetamine. The search was conducted in July of 2021. According to the Nebraska State Patrol. The search was conducted in relation to the search for Linda Dillard.
