Quilt honors Lyle Droge for his contribution to FFA

A lot of area farmers got their start in classes taught by WWII veteran Lyle Droge. He started to teach these classes a couple years after returning from the war. He was teaching classes in connection with the FFA.

Caralyn Friedly takes over at PCAL

Caralyn Friedly loved her co-workers at Union Bank and Trust, and she said that was the most difficult part of leaving. She started her new duties as Executive Director at Pawnee City Assisted Living last week. On her second day on the job, she went around meeting all 20 residents.

Gail and Jon Howard received the Carolyn VanHorne Civic Award for 2020. Presenting the award was Chamber of Commerce President Brian Rottinghaus.

Co-Salutatorian for the HTRS Class of 2021, Katilyn Glathar

Katilyn is the daughter of Jason and Kelly Glathar of Humboldt. Many juniors and seniors at HTRS take dual credit courses through Peru State College and Southeast Community College.
