10 Years Ago – August 6, 2015West Nile Virus is in the area. The Southeast Nebraska Health Department recently tested mosquitoes in Richardson County and they were found to be carrying West Nile Virus. SENHD covers Pawnee, Johnson, Richardson, Otoe and Nemaha Counties.

Summer Night Blues in Table Rock

The humidity was so high last Saturday night that the five blues musicians set to play at the Table Rock bandstand practically swam to the stage. They didn’t care. “It’s not our first rodeo,” said front man Tim Budig. They just wanted to play. And they sure did.

K9 Program Grant Funding

The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that we have recently been awarded a grant to establish a K-9 unit, a program approved by our County Commissioners to address drug-related activity in and traveling through our region.
